Jesus Christ has already done all the blood work that will ever need to be done. He lived a perfect, pristine life, and died a cruel death to pay the price for all of the unrighteous acts committed in the world. Jesus dedicated 33 years making sure that we would never have to receive what we deserve. The blood work is done, now it's time for book work. |
I
know there are a ton of you probably clicking out of this site by this
point. If your one of them, your obviously not reading this
now and you have really missed out on a great opportunity for eternal
happiness. One of the most quoted and most popular verses
from the bible says: "For God so loved the world, that he
gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life." -John
3:16. No doubt you
have heard that
before, and to be quite honest that pretty much covers the
main message that God has for you. Of course he has
a wealth of information to share with you, and every one of
his children, but first you must understand that you have been bought
and paid for with the blood of our holy savior Jesus Christ.
Because Jesus gave 33 years for you, I am asking that you give some time back. If you are not a believer then here is your chance to go for a test drive. If you can give 40 days to God, whole heartedly and completely, I can almost guarantee that you will never live another day wondering why you are here, or what comes after death. I can almost promise you that you will not let go after the 40 days are up, and that your life will be more fulfilled than ever. My challenge to you is to pick up a bible (If you don't have one you could find one either on-line, or I'll send you one) and spend 15-30 minutes with it every day for 40 days. I know that a lot of people don't have the patience to read through scripture, I struggled with it at first too. The bible, however, are Gods words and wisdom put on paper. It is his message to you, and although the words are the same from bible to bible, the message is custom fit for you. So please give this 40 day thing a try, if at the end of it all you look back and haven't gained anything, then at least you know it's just not right for you. At least it's proof to yourself that it doesn't work for you.
There
is a great book that is designed to take 40 days to get
through, and teach you
all about the reasons that you are here on earth. If you are
interested it is called The Purpose Driven Life and it is written by a
pastor named Rick Warren. You can pick this book up
at most book stores, Christian stores, and I have even seen it at
Wal-Mart. Good luck with your walk. Please, please
